About Wan 2.5

Wan 2.5 is a video model from Alibaba's Tongyi Wan family. Earlier Wan releases, up to Wan 2.2, were published as open weights, which built the family a large developer following; Wan 2.5 and its successors are offered as hosted models instead. Wan 2.5 generates 5-10 second clips at up to 1080p with synchronized audio, averaging around 50 seconds per clip. It handles realistic everyday scenes well, and the audio arrives matched to the action, which suits music, ambience and mood content. Through VideoGenAPI you reach it with the same REST endpoint as every other model, without an Alibaba Cloud Model Studio account or regional credentials.
